OTEC – International Startup Meetup 国际创业聚

This is a gathering event for all international entrepreneurs and professionals working in Beijing. This year, we will be inviting government officials to talk about policies on starting your own businesses, as well as entrepreneurs to share their firsthand experience in startups.

Talks

• Topic 1 – Visa policies for foreign workers, permanent resident cards, etc.
• Topic 2 – Grants from Chaoyang government (Phoenix Program) available to international entrepreneurs (from 100K up to 300K)
• Topic 3 – Tips and procedures in registering your own company in Beijing
• Topic 4 – Investors’ talk on startup mistakes and how to raise capital as a foreign founder
• Topic 5 – Entrepreneurs as guest speakers sharing their startup stories

Networking

There will be a NETWORKING session following the talks, in which you may mingle with entrepreneurs, local talents, and like-minded people from startup community.
