Job | TAFE Queensland International Support Officer (Chengdu)

TAFE Queensland are looking for a local representative based in Chengdu to support their partnerships and student recruitment activities.
 
Key responsibilities:
·               Develop and maintain system to prepare, process and track of international student applications
·               Utilise a comprehensive knowledge of TAFE Queensland, its services and products, specifically with regard to course information, entry requirements and legislative requirements associated with the delivery of services to international students.
·               Assist in the coordination of initial agent and student enquiries
·               Build and maintain relationships with agent and students, and maintain contact with international students to provide ongoing support, admissions advice, and referral to appropriate services and agencies.
·               High level of computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Suites including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and student portal StudyLink
·               Actively contribute to and participate in marketing events, expos
·               Ensure day to day activities align with business operations.
·               Supporting In country manager’s day to day work and provide administrative support
·               Relevant work experience in education and student admission
·               Possess an equivalent combination of relevant experience
·               Demonstrable level of accuracy and attention to detail
·               Demonstrated experience of working effectively in a busy office environment with large volumes of work
·               High level administration skills including ability to monitor work processes and to meet deadlines
·               Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
·               High level of computer competency and experience of effective teamwork
 
Qualifications / Requirements
•          Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing or similar and/or equivalent relevant experience.
•          Knowledge of international education processes, government regulations and procedures          
•          Highly driven, self motivated performer with demonstrated capacity to meet and exceed job performance outcomes
•          Bilingual language skills
•          Ability to undertake frequent local travel
