The InterChamber Summer Mixer took place last Thursday 8 June in the mercifully air conditioned Chongqing Marriott, with over a hundred local and international guests joining what was to become one of Chongqing’s biggest InterChamber events in recent memory.
AustCham West China was thrilled to be back in Chongqing, sometimes referred to as the New York City of Southwest China, to meet with current and new potential members and join with our friends at the British, European Union, French, German and Italian Chambers in hosting this relaxed business networking event.
When not gazing out from the 50th floor Sky Bar overlooking the cramped, chaotic and wondrous skyscraper-lined Jiefangbei, guests from the world over enjoyed live music, an extensive food selection, beers from local venue TAPS, wine and cocktails.
Our special thanks go to everyone who attended, the Chongqing Marriott, beer sponsors TAPS and to the other participating Chambers of Commerce (and in particular the Italian Chamber of Commerce for taking a major role in organising the event).
