As a member of AustCham Greater China and as a registered NGO office in the People\u2019s Republic of China, the chamber represents its members through sharing information, connections and government advocacy. As a platform AustCham enables its members to exchange information on business opportunities in the region. AustCham South China\u2019s office is based in Guangzhou with representation across the broader South China region.<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>Working at AustCham South China:<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5>AustCham South China staff are given the opportunity to work alongside a passionate and innovative team dedicated to assisting companies in the Australia-China business community doing business in South China. You are immersed in an environment dealing with a membership of well accomplished Australian business leaders in China. AustCham South China is governed by a Board of Directors representing many of Australia\u2019s business leaders in the region. Working at AustCham South China in this role you are likely to develop further skills in business administration, industry relations, marketing, project management, event management, government relations and other key areas to develop business acumen. In this role you are encouraged to develop relationships with members of the Australian business community in China.<\/h5>\n<h5>Working at AustCham South China, you are required to maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel.<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5>\n&gt;&gt; \u00a0Business Administration \u2013 Assist in the preparation of the monthly board materials and business administration in consultation with the Business Executive<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; Financial Reporting &amp; Accounts \u2013 Manage \/ Assist in AustCham South China\u2019s accounts and budget preparations in consultation with The Treasurer<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; Membership Drive \u2013 Assist in membership and sponsorship drive of AustCham<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; Business Development \u2013 Assist in establishing and executing management plans informed by the financial reporting \/ accounts management \/ business administration work done within the role<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0\u00a0Analysis \u2013 maintain knowledge of current and emerging industries in Southern China, particularly those relevant for Australian firms<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Will occasionally be called on to assist with event planning working closely with the Business Executive<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>Key Performance Indicators:<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Timely collection and submission of monthly reports<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Deadlines met<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Assists the team when needed<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt;\u00a0 Keeps the Business Executive informed of relevant information<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>Requirements:<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a01-3 years\u2019 experience with accounting, finance, office management and business administration desirable<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Native Chinese language proficiency. Whether a native speaker or non-native English speaking applicant, you should have excellent English skills across all disciplines<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; Knowledge of local laws and local administrative processes highly desirable<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; \u00a0Experience with an international business in China desirable<\/h5>\n<h5>&gt;&gt; Experience assisting in events planning and execution<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>Reporting Hierarchy:<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5>The Accounts &amp; Marketing Manager reports to the Business Executive (in their absence this role will report to AustCham Board\u2019s executive committee).
