{"id":20745,"date":"2017-06-02T14:23:09","date_gmt":"2017-06-02T06:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westchina.austcham.org\/?p=20745"},"modified":"2017-06-02T14:37:14","modified_gmt":"2017-06-02T06:37:14","slug":"20745","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westchina.austcham.org\/?p=20745","title":{"rendered":"AustCham West China Office Assistant\/Administrator Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><\/b><b>Position Outline<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Title<\/b>: Office Assistant\/Administrator<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic management of office finances (in liaison with the Executive Manager and AustCham Beijing)<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance and updating of office CRM system<\/li>\n<li>Updating the AustCham West China Members Directory as required<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with translating, both written and spoken<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with local government agencies<\/li>\n<li>Representing AustCham West China at Chamber and member company events<\/li>\n<li>Various ad hoc duties and administrative tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications Required<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent Chinese language abilities (written and spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in WordPress preferred<\/li>\n<li>Computer graphic design experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Photography skills preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong and flexible work ethic, adept at multitasking and prioritising<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently in a small team<\/li>\n<li>Must be organised and detail-oriented, and adaptable to a foreign work environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with members and stakeholders in a highly professional and helpful manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>General Awareness<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understands the considerations and values of a non-profit, membership-based organisation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a small team environment, contribute positively to local atmosphere and deliver on job responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Has a keen interest in the Australia-China relationship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note, according to local regulations, this is an unpaid position, however a weekly stipend for food and travel will be provided.
