This year hosts and\u00a0organizers are\u00a0Capital M,\u00a0AustCham Beijing, AmCham China, Britcham and Viva. The program brings together established and emerging women leaders in our community for a morning walk to discuss professional and personal successes, challenges and aspirations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mentor Walks bring together established women leaders and emerging women leaders in our community to connect, learn, mentor and share experiences.\u00a0 As they walk, they discuss their professional and personal challenges, successes, aspirations, and lessons learned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a mentee, you will be introduced to our many esteemed mentors and have the opportunity to select your Mentor based on your preferences and availability.\u00a0 Mentor and mentee groups are typically 3-5 people.\u00a0 You will have the incredible opportunity to seek advice from seasoned professionals who will provide an open ear, honest feedback, and meaningful guidance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Mentors &amp; Mentees<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mentors and Mentees come from a diverse variety of backgrounds including, international development, foreign affairs, law, finance and banking, business development, marketing, public relations, humanitarian and non-profit work, corporate social responsibility, academia, entrepreneurship, hospitality, healthcare, technology and media, sustainability, energy, international trade, and more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mentors<\/strong>\u00a0are at the top of their fields.\u00a0 Whether in senior management in a major company, a thought leader, a business owner, or simply a force of nature in their professions, they\u2019ve worked hard to get where they are and are high achievers.\u00a0 With their experience, they are role models to other inspired women in our community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mentees<\/strong>\u00a0are either in their early professional years, have been in their career for a number of years now, or are entrepreneurs looking to learn from other enterprising women.\u00a0 Mentees may be hitting their stride professionally, are becoming a key contributor to their company, or growing their experience and expertise.\u00a0 They invest in themselves and other women to keep that momentum going.\u00a0 Mentees are not high school or university students, but rather professionals making their mark in the working world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mentors and mentees gather in the park for an informal early morning walk on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0Friday of every month.\u00a0 We meet at 7:45 am at the gates of either Ritan Park or Chaoyang Park and walk in smaller groups for approximately an hour.\u00a0 Each year, the Mentor Walks kick off in March and close in November with a large group mentor and mentee gathering at Capital M.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Event Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Date:<\/strong>\u00a0Friday, April 8th<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Time:<\/strong>\u00a07:45 AM \u2013 9:00 AM<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">(please arrive\u00a0promptly at 7:45 AM, so we may split into groups and begin our walks promptly\u00a0at 8:00 AM)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Ritan Park, South Gate (located on Guanghua Lu, at the\u00a0intersection of Jianhua Lu)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u65e5\u575b\u516c\u56ed\u5357\u95e8\uff08\u4f4d\u4e8e\u5149\u534e\u8def\u548c\u5efa\u534e\u8def\u7684\u4ea4\u53c9\u5341\u5b57\u8def\u53e3\uff09<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Registration:<\/strong>\u00a0RSVP is\u00a0required. \u00a0Participation is Free<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This event is now full<\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>RSVP is on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that spaces are limited.\u00a0 If you register and are unable to attend the Mentor Walk, please inform us at least one day in advance of the scheduled Mentor Walk at the contact details provided in your confirmation email.\u00a0 We understand that emergencies happen, however, if you register and fail to attend a Mentor Walk without notice on two occasions, you will be unable to participate in future Mentor Walks.<\/p>\n<p><u><u><strong>2016 Mentor Walk Schedule<\/strong><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Friday, April 8 &#8211;
