The governors will now be responsible for the amount of quality of farmland remaining stable, improving pollution control, verifying to authenticity of grain reserve data and protecting farmers. <a href=\"http:\/\/english.agri.gov.cn\/news\/dqnf\/201511\/t20151113_146587.htm\">Click here<\/a> to read the full statement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>China investing billions to resettle poor residents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year alone, China has allocated 5.5 billion yuan to resettle almost 1 million people from less economically developed areas in an attempt to free them from poverty. Alibaba will begin a campaign in mid-January promoting local specialty goods in addition to over 500 foreign products to rural buyers in anticipation of the Spring Festival.
